Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif disqualified over Corruption investigated in Panama Papers

Pakistan’s supreme court has announced the Panama Verdict and PM Nawaz Sharif disqualified over corruption cases and hiding assets.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif disqualified

“He is no more eligible to be an honest member of the Parliament, and he ceases to be holding the office of Prime Minister,” Judge Ejaz Afzal Khan said in Supreme court. Supreme ordered a criminal investigation in the NAB (National Accountability Beauru) against the Nawaz Sharif and his family to investigate and trial the assets of the Sharif Family.

Supreme court ordered the Election Commission to issue disqualified notification which released further in the evening. Ruling party will choose the new name for the post of Prime Minister.
